Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a qualified CNC Machinist to produce precision components in our Ohio shop. You will read blueprints, set up and operate CNC VTLs and mills, and adjust tooling to maintain tight tolerances.

The role requires attention to detail, strong math skills, and adherence to safety protocols. The position is a full-time night shift, with responsibilities spanning equipment setup, programming, and ongoing process optimization to support production goals and quality

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans; operate CNC machines with close tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Machine component parts per blueprints and specs.
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC tools with precision.
• Select, align, and secure fixtures and cutting tools.
• Maintain and inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
• Calculate and set controls for speed, feed, coolant, and cut depth/angle.
• Monitor machine operation for malfunctions and adjust as needed.
• Perform basic CNC programming and edit programs for optimization.
• Keep machine, tooling, and parts clean and in production-ready condition.
• Suggest improvements for production methods and equipment performance.
