Job summary

Manpower in Chetek, WI seeks an Automatics Operator to set up, operate, and adjust multi-spindle screw machines. You will inspect parts, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality throughout production, working M-F 2:00pm-11:00pm.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of machining experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401k with company match, plus quarterly profit-sharing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of machining experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications and use precision measuring tools.
• Experience with tool grinding, sharpening, and proper tooling selection.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust multi-spindle automatic screw machines, including ISAMs, NoCAMS, and Hydromats.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and process adjustments to meet production specifications.
• Inspect finished parts using gauges and measuring instruments to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, make corrections, and maintain quality throughout the production run.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, monitor oil and coolant levels, and follow all safety procedures.

Our client, a manufacturing company,is seeking several Automatics Operators to help keep the world moving. An Automatics Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, adjusting, and performing basic troubleshooting on multi-spindle automatic screw machines.

Job Title: Automatics Operator

Location: Chetek, WI

Pay Range: Starting Pay $25/hour with flexibility depending on experience level. Quarterly profit-sharing bonus

Shift Details: M-F 2:00pm - 11:00pm

What’s the Job?
