Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 3 years’ experience in molding toolmaking, with hands-on expertise in injection molding, lathes, milling machines, grinders, and metrology tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a molding toolmaker.
• Experience with injection molding and metalworking tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and material requirements to determine optimal design and production methods.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production personnel to ensure quality and functionality of tools.
• Create and maintain molds used in the production line.
• Use precision measuring instruments to measure and inspect finished tools.
• Maintain accurate records of tool design, production, and performance.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with tools and recommend repairs or modifications.
