ENNOVI is seeking a Tool & Die Maker at our New Jersey plant. You will create and maintain tools and equipment to support production, leveraging deep metalworking knowledge and a keen eye for detail to visualize components and translate ideas into precision metal forms for manufacturing.

Collaborate with engineers, machinists and production staff to ensure tools meet quality and functionality requirements while adhering to safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 years’ experience as a tool and die maker.
• Experience with progressive dies and stamping preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses.
• Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes.
• Experience with quality control analysis.

Responsabilités

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and material requirements to determine optimal design and production methods.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production personnel to ensure quality and functionality of tools.
• Design and create precision tools, progressive dies, molds, and fixtures.
• Use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauge blocks, to measure and inspect finished tools.
• Maintain accurate records of tool design, production, and performance.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with tools and recommend repairs or modifications.

Job Summary

The Tool & Die Maker in the NJ plant is responsible for creating and maintaining tools and equipment to support production. This person will have in-depth knowledge of metalwork and engineering, a good eye for detail, and the ability to visualize structural components. They will also translate ideas into expertly crafted metal forms ready for the manufacturing process. The Tool & Die Maker will collaborate with their team and demonstrate ENNOVI’s values of accountability, teamwork, and integrity.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and material requirements to determine optimal design and production methods.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a tool and die maker.
• Experience working with progressive dies and stamping is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics.
• Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes.
• Experience with quality control analysis.
