NyproMold Inc. is seeking a Mold Maker in Massachusetts to drive advanced machining and mold assembly for world-class injection molds. You will collaborate with design, machining, assembly, and manufacturing teams to deliver completed tooling on schedule.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in moldmaking/to olmaking, strong knowledge of mold construction, and the ability to diagnose tooling issues and lead improvement initiatives. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or journeyman moldmaking experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on injection moldmaking or toolmaking experience.
• Experience building, repairing, maintaining, fitting, assembling, and troubleshooting complex plastic injection molds.
• Strong knowledge of mold construction, operation, and tooling failure modes.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced hands-on machining operations using mills, EDMs, lathes, grinders, saws, hones, and other precision equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD files, and engineering drawings to manufacture mold components to specification.
• Review mold designs and understand mold functionality and customer requirements.
• Monitor and verify the quality and dimensional accuracy of mold components throughout manufacturing and assembly.
• Diagnose mold problems, determine repairs, and return tooling to production-ready condition.
• Document mold design and manufacturing issues through Quality Reports and required systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and comply with safety procedures.
• Communicate progress, concerns, and delivery risks with Operations Management.
