Job summary

Qualifications

• Reads, understands, and follows Operator Instruction Sheet to determine part number(s), inspection procedures, packing requirements, and any special instruction.
• Retrieves, separates, inspects, counts, weighs, packs, and labels parts per written and/or oral instructions.
• Utilizes clipping, knives, screwdrivers, and other simple hand tools to trim, cut, and prepare parts per safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates molding machines and/or air activated tools to assemble, decorate, or produce product.
• Advises supervision of machine malfunctions and unacceptable variances in product quality (e.g., flash, splay, contamination, underfill).
• Compares, inspects, and monitors production quality to approved samples and accepts/rejects per standards.
• Performs simple clerical tasks involving recording and summarizing production.
