Zero Hour Parts is seeking a Quality Inspector to safeguard product quality from development through manufacturing. You will run measurement and test processes, analyze results, and help ensure production follows best practices while monitoring output efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The role requires attention to detail, data fluency, and strong collaboration skills. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring all parts meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ASQ certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and measure finished parts per internal standards and customer design specifications.
• Read blueprints and interpret GD&T symbols to determine critical features and tolerances.
• Set up and operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to verify part capability.
• Document findings and compile organized quality reports for leadership and manufacturing.
• Sign certificates of conformation for the packing department.
• Complete first article inspections and ensure all required paperwork accompanies the packaged part.
• Accept or reject finished parts; segregate nonconforming product or material.
• Maintain tool inventory and stay current with quality standards and methods.
