Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Chop Shop Technician (Saw Operator) in Austin, TX to read work orders, configure machine stops, and operate industrial saw equipment with precision. You will verify cut lengths using tape measures and reporting any defects to maintain quality standards.

This 100% on-site role requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. NetSuite experience is a plus, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documentation.
• Attention to detail and precision throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs. comfortably and work on a manufacturing floor.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saw equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set stops and guides to specified lengths for each job.
• Cut metals precisely to meet production specifications.
• Inspect output for defects and report quality issues.
• Read and interpret work orders and document production activity.
• Use measurement tools to verify cut lengths and machine configurations.
