Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards. You will assist with inventory, pricing, merchandising, and other tasks requiring precision to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of meat cutting experience, certification within 90 days of hire, and a commitment to food safety and quality in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Meat cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.
• At least 2 years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items across the store to assist guests.
• Handle, slice, and trim a variety of meat and seafood products and prep meals.
• Monitor case temperatures, spills, and storage areas to ensure freshness.
• Enforce safety and food safety protocols per TFM policies and applicable law.
