Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items and assist guests in finding products.
• Handle, slice, and trim meat and seafood products while maintaining quality per TFM standards.
• Monitor temperatures of cases, spills, and storage areas.
• Enforce department practices for receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries to ensure freshness and quality.
• Ensure safety requirements and protocols are followed per policy and law.
