The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood according to our standards and guest requests. You will assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operations that require attention to detail.

This fast-paced role demands efficiency, accuracy, and a passion for excellence to deliver an impeccable guest and team experience while upholding safety and quality protocols. Certification within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items and assist guests in finding products and meal solutions across departments.
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards while managing quality levels.
• Monitor the temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas.
• Enforce safety, receiving, stocking, and unloading procedures to ensure freshness and quality.
