Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team and support our guests with top-quality meat and seafood. You will cut, trim and prepare products to The Fresh Market standards and assist with department inventory, pricing integrity and merchandising to create an exceptional guest experience.

This fast-paced role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and collaboration with other departments.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items and assist guests in finding products and meal solutions across departments.
• Handle, slice, cut and trim a variety of meat and seafood to TF M standards.
• Monitor temperature of cases, spill overs, and storage areas.
• Enforce department practices for receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries to ensure freshness and quality.
• Ensure department adherence to all safety requirements and protocols, including food safety and laws.
