Job summary

America's Heartland Packing is preparing to open a clod processing line, seeking a focused team member for the clod pull role. You will separate the clod from the forequarter on the chuck, using a knife carefully to maintain bone cleanliness and meet quality specs.

You must be able to work in a humid, cold environment around moving equipment, wear PPE, and follow safety rules. Prior manufacturing experience and knife handling are preferred; 18+ and US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a humid, cold, wet or slippery environment near moving equipment with PPE.
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: knife experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Use a hook to pull on the clod piece of meat while using a knife to remove the clod from the chuck, ensuring no cuts to brisket or clod tenders.
• Drop the separated shoulder clod onto the conveyor after cutting.
• Separate the foreshank bone from the blade bone.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE usage; perform other related duties as needed.
