Silfex is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 to operate advanced and automated equipment creating precision semiconductor components in a clean, high-tech environment.

You will learn 3-5 processes, perform 5S, read drawings, input production data, and maintain safety and quality while working 12-hour shifts with PPE.

The role offers a path to develop technical skills and contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience operating equipment in manufacturing or similar controlled environment.
• Ability to work safely around hazardous chemicals and wear PPE for 12-hour shifts.
• Basic computer proficiency to navigate manufacturing systems and ERP.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that support Silfex manufacturing and finishing processes.
• Learn and perform 5S workplace organization activities.
• Develop proficiency in 3–5 designated processes through hands-on training.
• Enter production and quality data into batch records and the ERP system.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine housekeeping; ensure equipment status.
