Job summary

Silfex is hiring a Manufacturing Technician 2 for an on-site role in Eaton, OH. You will operate advanced equipment to create precision components for the semiconductor industry, perform 5S activities, and support production with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, PPE compatibility for cleanroom work, and the ability to learn and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience operating equipment in a manufacturing, cleanroom, or similar controlled environment.
• Ability and willingness to work safely around hazardous chemicals and wear PPE for 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to learn and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer skills to navigate manufacturing software and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines supporting manufacturing and finishing processes.
• Learn and perform 5S workplace organization activities.
• Develop proficiency in 3–5 designated processes through training.
• Follow procedures and read work instructions to ensure quality.
• Enter production and quality data into ERP and logs.
• Maintain area cleanliness and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with routine maintenance and safety compliance.
