Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED credential required.
• 1–2 years of experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work safely around hazardous chemicals and wear PPE.
• Ability to learn and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use manufacturing systems.
• Strong attention to detail with safety and quality focus.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with minimal supervision.
• Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that support the Silfex manufacturing and finishing processes.
• Learn and perform 5S workplace organization activities.
• Develop proficiency in 3–5 designated processes through training.
• Follow Silfex policies and procedures to perform routine tasks safely.
• Follow material handling requirements to ensure product and equipment quality.
• Read and interpret drawings, follow work instructions and process specs.
• Enter production and quality data into batch records and ERP systems.
• Maintain area cleanliness and perform housekeeping tasks.
• Perform routine/preventive maintenance as assigned to keep equipment running.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; report hazards or incidents promptly.
• Participate in Tier 1 meetings and shift passdown communications.
• Develop basic troubleshooting skills for equipment.
• Understand and apply Silfex QMS standards for consistent quality.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
