Metal Craft in Elk River, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize processes, improve product quality, and drive efficiency on multiple CNC platforms. This role focuses on developing and implementing manufacturing methods that maximize productivity and minimize waste.

You will apply lean principles, support continuous improvement, maintain documentation, and collaborate with Production and Quality to refine processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in machine tool or manufacturing tech; bachelor’s in engineering preferred.
• 2–5 years of related manufacturing experience; medical or aerospace/defense exposure preferred.
• Experience with CNC machining centers, 5-axis mills, Swiss, mill-turns, and lathe.
• Ability to read prints and interpret GD&T; strong CAD skills, SolidWorks or similar.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain cost-effective manufacturing processes from drawings and models.
• Provide technical support across departments for manufacturability.
• Estimate costs to minimize lead time while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate projects with MRB, RCA, and process issues.
• Create process drawings and ERP documentation compliant with requirements.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality to implement refinements.
