Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Precision Manual Machinist — Rotating Equipment Specialist who will repair, troubleshoot, and rebuild critical rotating machinery. You will set up engine and turret lathes, mills, and related tooling, measuring precisely with micrometers and gauges while reading blueprints for accurate parts.

You'll also support CNC repair as needed, ensure strict safety adherence, and work rotating shifts with overtime as required, contributing to production uptime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and able to read blueprints/d drawings.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing/industrial experience or equivalent education.
• Proficiency with cutting tools and measuring devices.
• Pass MTM written test and hands-on Manual Machinist Assessment.
• Commitment to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work repairs, troubleshooting, and full rebuilds of rotating equipment.
• Set up and operate manual machines: engine lathes, turret lathes, mills and related tooling.
• Complete machine setups for production runs and execute precise manual machining.
• Use precision measuring tools to validate tolerances and surface finishes.

Precision Manual Machinist — Rotating Equipment SpecialistStep into a hands-on role where your craftsmanship keeps critical rotating machinery running. Picture a shift that begins with blueprint review, tool selection, and careful setup of a manual engine or turret lathe.
