Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled machinist to configure and operate manual and CNC equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and more. You will inspect in-process parts with precision tools and translate blueprints into reliable setups for repeatable results.

The role requires strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge, plus comfort with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators. This is an in-person, full-time position in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated background on manual mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T.
• Comfort with 2D drawings and precision tools (calipers and micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Configure and run manual and CNC equipment: mills, lathes, grinders, saws, boring mills, and drill presses.
• Continuously inspect in-process parts with precision instruments.
• Operate manual mills, lathes, and grinders with proven proficiency.
• Translate blueprints into reliable setups and repeatable results.
