Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years machine shop experience required, preferably in an engineering environment using the majority of the equipment listed above.
• Able to read blueprints for finish specifications and critical dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual machinery including milling machines, lathes, drill press, gun drill, and surface grinder.
• Rework parts per print with written and verbal instructions.
• Inspect components and assemblies to ensure form, fit, and function per dimensional criteria.
• Complete routings and inspection reports; document time entries and shop floor packets.
• Maintain inventory of material and hardware; assist maintenance with repairs.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop fixtures and tooling; perform other duties as assigned.
