C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (5:00pm - 5:30am) in Duncanville, TX. The role focuses on maintaining production equipment across conveyors, mixers, packaging lines, and refrigeration systems in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and ensuring HACCP/GMP compliance. Strong PLC/HMI/SCADA knowledge and safety-driven mindset required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Technical school education, preferred.
• 5 years’ related experience in industrial manufacturing environment.
• 5 years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery, including conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment, and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
• Respond to emergency repairs during production to prevent disruptions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, ensure sanitation standards and food safety regs.
