Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Controls Specialist to ensure reliable operation of our food manufacturing equipment. You will manage PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, troubleshoot electrical faults, and optimize control strategies for efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. The role may require working non-standard hours to support production schedules.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Experience with HMI development and SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems including motors, drives, and sensors.
• Safety standards knowledge related to electrical/control systems.
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and automation components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Develop and follow maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Document configurations, wiring diagrams, and maintenance activities.
