Mayzon is seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate a range of machine tools, interpreting drawings to tight tolerances. The role emphasizes precision measurement, tooling selection, and maintaining quality records in a safe, organized shop.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of hands-on machining experience, familiarity with manual mills/ lathes and grinders, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety procedures.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical machining training preferred.
• Three or more years of hands-on machining experience preferred.
• Proficiency operating manual mills, lathes and grinders; CNC setup/operation a plus.
• Ability to read drawings and machine parts to tight tolerances.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, saws and other tools.
• Machine components from blueprints to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Read blueprints, inspect with micrometers/calipers, and verify dimensions.
• Repair, rework, or modify tooling components and fixtures as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safety procedures.
