Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machining practices and techniques.
• Basic mechanical principles and shop mathematics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Stamina for standing and lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Knowledge of CNC controls and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications.
• Set-up bore gauges and other inspection equipment.
• Complete labor reporting and quality control documentation.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Conduct manual and CNC machining under supervision.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
