100Hires, Inc. is seeking an experienced machinist to set up, operate, and adjust conventional and CNC machines to fabricate precise metallic parts per blueprints and specifications.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, ability to edit CNC programs, and strong metrology skills using micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks. Applicants should be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment with safety-first procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to edit programs for CNC equipment.
• Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions.
• Good understanding of blueprint reading with regards to machining diameters and simple shapes.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates conventional and special purpose machines to fabricate metallic parts.
• Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece.
• Measuring, marks and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for machining.
• Calibrates and controls speed, feed, coolant, and depth of cut; starts and observes operation for malfunctions.
• Maintains safe operations by following procedures and regulations.
