Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Oklahoma City is seeking a Machinist to program, set-up, adjust, and operate manual and CNC machines. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, inspecting with gauges, and maintaining documentation of quality control.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, machine shop mathematics, and experience with CNC controls. Eligible candidates will perform both manual and CNC operations under supervision, with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of machining practices and techniques.
• Blueprint reading and shop mathematics.
• Knowledge of precision measuring tools and basic mechanical principles.

Responsibilities

• Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications.
• Set-up bore gauges and other inspection equipment.
• Complete all required paperwork including labor reporting and quality control documentation.
• Work safely and maintain the work area with high housekeeping standards.
• Performs preventative maintenance on machinery/equipment.
• Performs manual and CNC machining under supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
