Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Machinist I for a 2nd shift onsite role in Radford, Virginia. You will program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, set up fixtures, read blueprints, and ensure tight tolerances while collaborating with engineering and quality teams.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or equivalent experience, strong math skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Machine Technology or related field or equivalent experience (at least 5 years relevant experience).
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to perform precision machining operations.
• Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling to ensure accurate part production.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications to determine machining methods.
• Select and recommend tooling, feeds, and speeds for machining operations.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure tolerance and quality requirements.
