Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and mill-turn machines for complex components. You will read drawings, apply GD&T, and validate programs in Mastercam and NCSimul prior to production.

Deep experience with CNC setup, GD&T, and precision metrology is required, with proficiency in ProShop ERP and SolidWorks. This on-site role in Colorado Springs offers hand‑on manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in machining environments.
• Strong blueprint/GD&T skills and methodical mechanical problem-solving.
• Depth in CNC setup and complex machining operations.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Mastercam, NCSimul, Renishaw probing and ProShop ERP.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and mill-turn machines for complex components.
• Read drawings and 3D models, apply GD&T, and hold tight tolerances.
• Review and validate CNC programs in Mastercam and NCSimul prior to production.
• Use Renishaw probing/tool-setting to speed setups and verify features.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and drive improvements in setups, cycle times, and part quality.
• Record accurate work order data and process notes in ProShop ERP.
