Phillips Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented technician to join a leading automotive bearing manufacturer in West Union, SC. You will operate and maintain the machine, perform SPC checks, and ensure parts meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of manufacturing experience at a single location, and experience with calipers and micrometers. The role requires overtime on weekends and a 3rd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Must understand and use gauges, calipers and micrometers.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience at a single location.
• Experience with SPC checks and visual inspection.

Responsabilités

• Start up and shut down the assigned machine.
• Set counter to zero.
• Load parts into machine and assemble parts.
• Load the hopper with pins.
• Replace full totes.
• Perform SPC checks, including visual inspection, gauging and identifying parts that are in or out of specification.
• Watch for jammed pin hopper and correct jams.
• Perform housekeeping as required to keep the area clean and organized.
• Adhere to company policies and regulations according to safety and environmental issues.
