Job summary
Phillips Staffing in West Union, SC seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team on the 3rd shift. The role focuses on industrial electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and maintaining CNC and PLC equipment.
You'll diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, use precision tools, and support building upkeep. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Mechatronics or related field or equivalent experience, with willingness to work overtime
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial electrical troubleshooting is required.
- Practical knowledge of metal cutting and tooling and their fluids.
- General knowledge of HVAC and compressed air systems; operation of hydraulic/pneumatic Lubrication systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and fix issues with hydraulic, pneumatic, and oil/lube systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical wiring, PLCs, and CNC machinery.
- Work with bearing applications, metal cutting tools, and grinders/filtration equipment.
- Perform basic building maintenance, plumbing, and facility upkeep.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, cylinder gauges, and dial indicators.
