Job summary

Phillips Staffing is seeking a dedicated CNC Set Up Technician for the 3rd shift in Liberty, SC. You will perform machine start-ups, offsets, tool changes, and fixture alignments in a medium-to-fast paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include analyzing downtime, driving continuous improvement in safety and OEE, and collaborating with fellow technicians and group leaders to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more CNC set-up experience.
• Authorized to work for an employer in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start-up of machines per procedure.
• Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and fixture alignments.
• Engage in safety, OEE, rework reduction, and team building initiatives.
• Collaborate with Set Up Technicians and Group Leaders across shifts.
• Analyze downtime root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain regular attendance and overtime as scheduled.

• Perform start-up of machine per procedure.
• Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and fixture alignments.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives in safety, OEE, rework reduction, and team building.
• Collaborate with other Set Up Technicians and Group Leaders on different shifts for smooth transitions.
• Analyze root causes of downtime and implement corrective actions or report to Shift Manager.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance according to scheduled work hours and assigned overtime.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
• 6 months or more CNC Set-up experience.
• Authorized to work for an employer in the U.S.
