Job summary

Phillips Staffing in West Union, SC is seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our client’s team. Responsibilities include performing visual and dimensional inspections, sorting products, and using gaging equipment to verify conformance with specifications.

You will maintain attendance, work third shift, and communicate issues promptly; previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience is a plus. Pay is $19.04 per hour, with a 3rd shift schedule, and opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or SC WorkKeys certification required/considered.
Experience in manufacturing or quality inspection is a plus.
Ability to sit or stand for duration of shift and work overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspections and sort product in any area of the plant requiring quality inspection.
Use gaging and inspection methods to verify product meets specifications.
Identify and elevate abnormal conditions to the Team Leader.
Meet productivity goals and production targets.
Maintain attendance with fewer than 2 attendance points.
Verify prior processes signed off on operation sheets.
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
