Job summary
Phillips Staffing seeks a detail-oriented CMM Technician for Liberty, SC. The role involves operating CMM and other precision measurement equipment, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring measurement accuracy.
You will work with Quality and Manufacturing teams to communicate results and maintain calibration and documentation. Ideal candidates have GD&T training, CMM experience, and familiarity with MCOSMOS, CAD, and dimensional inspection practices in a regulated manufacturing
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of GD&T training preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive quality/metrology or highly regulated manufacturing lab required.
- CMM experience preferred and MCOSMOS/CAD knowledge valued.
Responsibilities
- Operate CMM and precision measurement equipment.
- Monitor accuracy and performance of inspection equipment.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with repairs and address equipment issues affecting measurements.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained.
- Support Quality with dimensional inspection activities.
- Perform dimensional measurements and inspections of parts and prototypes.
- Document results clearly and maintain records for FAI.
