Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on setting up and operating machines, inspecting products, and ensuring quality standards are met on the shop floor.

You will work 2nd shift, perform routine measurements with calipers and gauges, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while adhering to all PPE and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow English instructions and complete simple logs/reports.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Must follow timekeeping policies and other company policies.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or supervisor directions.
• Install machine fixtures and align dies, punches, blades, or other fixtures.
• Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines.
