Job summary

GardenCore is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate front-end loaders, knuckle booms, bulldozers, wheel loaders, and all-terrain forklifts in a 50+ acre outdoor environment. You will move bulk material throughout the facility while following safety policies.

Requirements include at least 2 years of experience with heavy equipment, ability to read and write English, and readiness to work in dusty, hot or cold conditions.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience using heavy equipment/front end loader.
• Able to read and write English and understand numerical values.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 65 lbs and working in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment operation to detect malfunctions.
• Read job specifications to determine adjustments and material requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling and cleaning.
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily.
• Operate cab controls and drive equipment safely in busy mulch yard.
• Other duties as assigned.
