Job summary

NFPA Global Solutions is seeking a Lab Technician to join our fast-paced lab team in the United States. You will receive client samples, prepare specimens, perform tests, and maintain equipment while ensuring precise documentation and strict adherence to SOPs.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Construction experience and MS Office proficiency are a plus, and applicants should be capable of lifting up to 50

Qualifications

Some post-secondary education in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
Experience using hand tools preferred and construction experience a plus.
Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

Receive and document client samples with accuracy and proper record-keeping.
Prepare specimens for testing and conduct tests with impartiality and precision.
Maintain lab equipment and perform routine maintenance for smooth operations.
Report testing data to the technical team and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
Follow lab protocols and safety policies to uphold quality and safety standards.
