Job summary

Certified Group is seeking a specimen processing technician to ensure samples are received, prepared, and maintained according to strict protocols. The role involves notifying customers of any issues with samples submitted for testing and working within a multi-brand lab network to support food safety testing services.

You will enter data into a LIMS, set up analyses, and ensure accurate documentation while adhering to FSNS policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of concepts and practices of a testing laboratory.
• 1+ years in a commercial food-testing laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and set-up samples for analysis.
• Enter data, log analyses, and approve samples using a LIMS database on a Windows workstation.
• Process and maintain client samples at correct temperatures.
• Follow FSNS procedures and customer requirements to handle samples.
