Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support daily laboratory operations. The role involves sample retrieval, preparation, and documentation within QA programs and SOPs.

You will handle sample prep steps, learn LIMS and Mercury Analysis, and help maintain a safe, organized lab environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with chemistry coursework, basic lab experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of chemistry and science concepts.
• Basic mathematical skills for calculations.
• Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Ability to work independently following instructions.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve samples for analysis from Sample Control.
• Prepare samples and reagents; aliquot, spike, and bottle samples as needed.
• Prepare concentrations and oxidize or digest samples with acids.
• Set up liquid racks and learn Mercury Analysis.
• Record results, track samples, and maintain lab logbooks.
• Wash glassware and stock supplies; maintain clean work areas.
• Assist other laboratory areas as needed.
