Job summary

BD in Columbus, OH is seeking a skilled Molding Technician to setup and operate injection molding presses, inspect parts, and ensure products meet quality standards. You will perform troubleshooting, set up molds, and support continuous improvements in a GMP environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, hands-on molding experience or strong mechanical aptitude, and are comfortable reading procedures and documenting results on every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous molding experience preferred or strong mechanical aptitude.
• Scientific molding technique knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the line running and restart press as needed.
• Perform periodical part inspection and mold setup.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on molding machines.
• Verify molds run within validated parameters and parts meet quality criteria.
• Fill out documentation to ensure traceability and reproducibility.
