Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous molding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of scientific molding techniques preferred.
• General mechanical aptitude required.
• Mechanical ability - Proficient.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving proficient.
• Ability to keep and maintain detailed documentation/communication.
• Independent thinking and teamwork are essential.
• Leadership skills are proficient.

Responsibilities

• Keep the line running.
• Restart press as needed.
• Perform periodical part inspection.
• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of molding machines; document work performed.
• Verify the mold is running within validated parameters and parts meet acceptance criteria.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of auxiliary equipment (conveyors, water temp controls, mold hot runner controls).
• Promote safety, quality and environmental procedures.
• Fill out documents on molding runs to control traceability and reproducibility.
• Relieve other molding technicians during breaks; train mold utilities.
