Job summary

BD’s Columbus Molding Center is seeking an on-site manufacturing operator to support 6:00AM–6:00PM shifts. You will perform quality checks, document issues, and ensure correct labeling and packaging of molded products.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to 5S and safety practices. Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience is required, with a preference for candidates holding a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Basic computer, math, and documentation skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, functional testing and visual quality checks per procedures.
• Document defects and communicate non-conforming material to quality/management.
• Complete all required paperwork for molded products.
• Pack finished products and label contents accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and orderly storage of materials.
• Assist cross-training and on-the-job training as needed.
• Perform line clearances and ensure correct labeling per work orders.
• Record issues and support root-cause investigations and quality improvements.
