Job summary

Cretex Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Setup Technician to manage the setup and teardown of injection molds, prepare auxiliary equipment, and perform first-piece inspection to ensure cycle accuracy.

You will troubleshoot presses, document setup sheets, log production data in the ERP, and maintain a clean, safe 5S workspace while supporting the Engineering and Master Scheduler teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, comprehend, follow and document work instructions, SOPs, and training documents.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic math knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down injection molds and required equipment.
• Monitor presses and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare setup sheets for new tooling, major tooling changes, process changes, and special tests.
• Enter production information into the ERP system and accurately record hours worked.
• Maintain a clean, organized 5S workspace; support Operational Excellence.
• Adhere to safety policies and quality system requirements.
