Job summary

Techniplas is seeking a Mold Setter to perform mold setup and maintenance for injection molding operations. The role includes loading materials, adjusting equipment, and ensuring molds are clean and aligned with the change schedule.

You will document changes and assist with process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include setting up production tools, running material dryers, and coordinating with other mold set-up technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work and function in a team environment.
• Proficient in basic mathematics.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written, verbal, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up production molds and auxiliary equipment per schedule.
• Clean, label, and load molding machine material hoppers; manage material dryers.
• Operate molding presses and load tools, heaters, and accessories.
• Perform mold changes, keep molds clean, and document activities.
• Complete paperwork such as work orders and check sheets; input data into computers.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and coordinate with other departments.
