Job summary

Cretex Medical in Minneapolis is seeking a Production Technician to set up and operate stamping presses and related equipment on the 2nd shift. You will inspect raw materials, work-in-process, and finished parts, and input data into the ERP while ensuring the correct programs are used for each run.

The role requires 3-5 years in manufacturing, ability to read blueprints and progression strips, strong math skills, and a safety-minded, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience running machining equipment.
• Ability to set up and operate stamping presses.
• Ability to read progression strips and blueprints.
• Strong shop math skills including fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Basic understanding of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping presses and related equipment to manufacture precision components.
• Enter job data into tracking software and verify correct programs.
• Load parts into fixtures for laser and robotic operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve production issues.
• Maintain 5S and organized work area; ensure safety procedures.
• Support quality inspections and document results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Quality.
