Job summary

RTCA is seeking a Hone Operator at our Fife, WA site to set up, operate and monitor honing equipment, ensuring parts meet engineering specs and quality requirements.

You will read blueprints, verify dimensions with precision instruments, and collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to support on-time delivery of aerospace components.

This is a full-time on-site role offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year setting up and operating honing equipment in manufacturing, preferably aerospace.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and bore gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor honing equipment to meet specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Perform inspections and document production records.
