Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience setting up and operating honing equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or precision machining.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust honing machines according to work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finishes; monitor machine performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Ensure parts meet specifications and communicate issues to supervision.
• Complete production tasks within quality and productivity standards and perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
