Job summary

Tailored Adhesives is seeking an HM/PSA Mixer Operator to manufacture adhesive products in line with approved formulations and schedules. The role involves operating mixers, heating tanks, and transfer systems while ensuring accurate batch documentation and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring temperatures and viscosities, collecting samples for QC, and performing routine maintenance and cleanups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read batch sheets and follow schedules.
• Basic mathematical skills and measurement.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules and batch sheets prior to beginning production.
• Weigh, measure, and add raw materials according to approved formulations.
• Operate mixers, heated tanks, pumps, transfer systems, and related equipment.
• Monitor batch temperatures, viscosity, and processing parameters.
• Operate heating systems and monitor product temperatures.
• Transfer finished products to designated holding tanks or packaging equipment.
• Maintain batch identification and traceability.
• Perform changeovers and equipment cleaning as directed.
