Job summary

Meridian Adhesives Group in Billerica, MA is seeking a Batch Maker to join the Production team. The role involves mixing raw chemical materials, following batch instructions, and ensuring safety and quality in every step.

You will operate high‑speed dispersers, read digital scales, perform accurate measurement and weighing, and support continuous improvement with the supervision team. Prior chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to operate high-speed dispersers and other handling equipment.
• Ability to read digital scales.
• Chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage and manually charge necessary raw materials into mixing container.
• Follow batch work instructions to manufacture quality products.
• Monitor and control mixing equipment to ensure batches meet work instructions.
• Adjust a batch under QC guidance until it is approved.
• Follow manufacturing schedule and coordinate with Supervisor on improvements or concerns.
• Cleanup work area to company standards.
• Ensure work area is safe, clean, and free of hazards; report spills or hazards immediately.
• Comply with all PPE standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
