The position offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus and two shift options with a 10% differential, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement plans, and employee stock options.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise, ability to understand and apply verbal, written and tool instructions in English.
• At least 3 years of Grind Machinist experience.
• Proficiency with measuring equipment: micrometers, calipers, dial bore gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions.
• FAA program enrollment is required for Safety Sensitive Work.

Responsibilities

• Grind a wide variety of complex parts from blueprints and operation sheets.
• Perform own set-ups, chucking, alignment, and wheel selection.
• Dress wheels for form, taper, steps, and unusual forms.
• Inspect all work with air gauges, diatest, V-blocks and profilometers.
• Support cell planning and help solve issues in the operation cell.
