Qualifications

• Average math skills and ability to read/understand English instructions and logs.
• Physically able to lift and move heavy parts and operate shop equipment.
• Willing to follow work hours, timekeeping policies, and shop rules.
• Must stand throughout a shift in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to learn basic machining concepts and use measuring devices.
• Collaborate with teammates to optimize production processes.
• Maintain high accuracy and demonstrate dependable performance.
• Be detail-oriented and adapt to changing production demands.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or supervisor directions.
• Install and align dies, punches, blades, and fixtures for safe operation.
• Set up and run machines including lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNCs per specs.
• Inspect finished parts for tolerances using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Keep the work area clean; obey PPE and safety protocols; use crane/buddy system.
• Assist in other areas as needed to support production targets.
